Choose this option if you only need hands on care during the day.
This option includes:

• Bed bath/Shower/Bath
• Washing and drying of hair
• Skincare – including pressure care
• Shaving of male residents
• Getting dressed according to weather circumstances
• Oral care
• Basic nailcare
• Changing of adult disposable diaper/pad when needed
• Make sure reading glasses are clean
• Make sure hearing aids are in working order and fitted
• Assist with mobilization (walker/wheelchair/cane)
• If indicated accompany resident to chosen social activities
• Ensure medication has been taken as prescribed (must be prepacked)
• Preparation of breakfast (own supplies)
• Preparation of lunch (own supplies)
• Preparation of “snack” tray for dinner (own supplies)
• Assist with serving of meals (cut meat and vegetables into smaller bite size portions)
• Assist with spreading and cutting of bread/toast
• Assist with feeding
• Ensure proper intake of fluid
• Make the bed
• Change the linen
• Check that all the lights are working properly
• Ensure windows are closed before end of shift
• Check that panic button is working before end of shift
• LIGHT DOMESTIC CHORES INCLUDED - OWN EQUIPMENT & SUPPLIES
  - Mopping of floors (kitchen and bathroom)
  - General tiding up of unit
  - Washing of dishes/wiping of kitchen counters

• Range of Motion exercises daily
• If indicated accompany resident to chosen social activities
• Ensure medication has been taken as prescribed (must be prepacked)
• Preparation of breakfast (own supplies)
• Preparation of lunch (own supplies)
• Preparation of dinner (own supplies)
• Assist with serving of meals (cut meat and vegetables into smaller bite size portions)
• Assist with spreading and cutting of bread/toast
• Assist with feeding
• Ensure proper intake of fluid
• Make the bed
• Change the linen
• Cleaning of hairbrush/comb
• Check that all the lights are working properly
• Ensure cupboards are neat and tidy
• Ensure windows are closed before end of shift
• Check that panic button is working
• LIGHT DOMESTIC CHORES INCLUDED - OWN EQUIPMENT & SUPPLIES
  - Mopping of floors (entire unit)
  - Dusting of all surfaces
  - General tiding up of unit
  - Washing of dishes/wiping of kitchen counters twice a day
  - Cleaning of wash basin, bath/shower, and toilet daily
  - Emptying dustbin
  - Washing of laundry (cloths/towels/bedlinen) only if washing machine is fitted inside the unit
  - IRONING NOT INCLUDED
  - NO GROOMING OF PETS
  - NO WASHING/CLEANING OF VEHICLES
  - NO GARDENING

Cost-sharing Options - Price On Application

If you have two or more residents who require similar care, we may be able to offer a cost-sharing option.
This would allow you to share the cost of caregiving services.

Please note that this option is subject to an assessment by our registered nurse and the specific needs of each resident.
